Welcome to Muni Samaj

Know the power of soul through yoga..

Welcome to "Akhila Bhumandaliya Sarvosiromani MuniSamaj" - in short, "MuniSamaj". It was started by Sadgurudev Shivmuni ji Maharaj. With a confident and fearless mind, he challenged the so called falsehood in Hindu Religion and preached the pure Sanatan Dharma with non-dualistic view of Atma(soul). With chant "शिवोऽहम्" (Shivoham) he stated to investigate and understand the true nature of the Atman (self) by rejecting the Anatma’s (Non-self). He demonstrated that Yoga is for enlightenment of Atma(soul) and in this process body heals itself automatically. Chakravedan Sadhan is the best and easiest way to heal body, mind, soul and attain state of happiness, freedom, peace of mind and Samadhi (enlightenment).

The main aim of this space is to spread correct knowledge on yoga. Yoga is not mere exercise to heal body but to enlighten your soul and show you your own power. Begin with healing of your body, mind, soul and achieve the most wanted HAPPINESS..

Journey to Muni Samaj Continues....

With true knowledge Shiv muni stated to move toward inner-self rather than believing falsehood of outer non-self. He has written books from his own realization to spread correct knowledge on yoga sadhan. His autobiography  is a must read before proceeding. His significant words of wisdom is quoted below :

"ज्ञान में ही शक्ति है और आत्मज्ञान ही सबसे बड़ा ज्ञान है । अंधबिश्वास को छोड़कर अपने भीतर का शब्द सुनो; तुम्हारा सच्चा पथप्रदर्शक तुम्हारे भीतर वर्तमान है ।"

Why to become a muni :

Now a days people focus on healthy lifestyle, fitness, balanced diet, exercise, yoga, meditation etc. Question is why? Simple answer is, to achieve something better in each field and gain happiness. With change in lifestyle, today's people are suffering with stress, depression, anxiety which are main reasons of all diseases. Life is struggling with diseases and has become uncomfortable, even meaningless at some point.
To all above problems, one candid solution is - be a muni - join muni samaj. In muni samaj you can find actual meaning and goal of yoga. Yoga means "union" in Sanskrit, the classical language of India. According to yogis true happiness, liberation and enlightenment comes from union with the divine consciousness known as Atman, the transcendent Self. The various yoga practices are a methodology for reaching that goal. In yoga, postures and breathing exercises help purify the mind, body and spirit so the yogi can attain union. When you practice yoga kriya of muni samaj, body heals itself from any kind of disease. The mind and soul become calm. With continuous practice, a state of happiness attained called samadhi that enlightens Atman(soul). Muni samaj not only teaches regarding yoga, but also describes true nature of a yogi. Philosophy of muni samaj states proper ways to lead a beautiful life with 'svatantra vichar'.

Who can be a muni :

A member of Muni Samaj is called a muni. But a muni must obey 6 rules (called muni lakshyan) stated by Shiv Muni Maharaj.
Anybody who has interest in true knowledge, power, happiness, nirvana (deliverance or salvation of soul) can be a muni. Age doesn't matter to become a muni. But people who are social or grihasth (living in society with family) can actually be a muni. According to Shiv muni, you need not to leave family to become a muni.

How to become a muni :

Munisamaj yoga or kriya is taught to be hidden knowledge. Because without knowledge one should not perform yoga wrongly. Munisamaj yoga is not mere exercise for fitness. It's to achieve happiness, for enlightenment of soul and in this process body heals automatically. No disease can stay in body of a true muni. Before becoming a muni, self-belief has to be established to accept true knowledge and continue to be a muni. To learn about Munisamaj disciplines and yoga, please go to nearby muni sivir.

Health, Mind, Soul and Munisamaj yoga kriya

Munisamaj follows ancient yoga kriya -Astang yoga that comprises of yam, niyam, asaan, pranayam, pratishat, dharana, dhyan and samadhi. But these need to be taught from a proper Guru/Yogi. Wrong practice might trash you into sickness, negativity, mental stress. While correct knowledge and practice can make you graceful, healthy, positive, enlighten. Please join munisamaj to get correct knowledge on yoga but before that munisamaj enforces to think liberally and gain correct knowledge on it. Do join satsang, listen to audio satsang, read Shivmuni's literature to know more. Below are some important subjects of munisamaj, described in a minimal way.

Pranav : Pranava, a Sanskrit word which means both controller of life force (prana) and life-giver (infuser of prana). ॐ is called the Shabda Brahman – God of Sound/Vibration. By following the thread of ॐ back in meditation to more and more subtle levels of awareness, the yogi regains union with Brahman. In "Atharvashikha Upanishad" it's said, “That which causes all the pranas to prostrate themselves before and get merged in the Paramatman, so as to attain identity with Him, is for that reason known as the Pranava.”
In "Atharv Veda Mandukya upanisad" it's said that,
"ओमीत्येतदक्षरमिदंसर्वम ।।"
To understand, lets break words - ओम इति तद अक्षरयम इदं सर्वम ।
Means - ॐ is that monosyllable which is everything.
In Bhagwat Geeta, the yogi Krisha has told,
"ओमित्येकांक्षरं ब्रह्म, व्याहरन्मामनुस्मरन्‌ ।
यः प्रयाति त्यजन्देहं, सयाति परमांगतिम ।।"

Means, ॐ is such a syllable which is 'bramha' (The Absolute Being) and who meditates with the syllable Aum, he becomes one with the Light, he is led to the world of Brahman (The Absolute Being), who is higher than the highest life, that which is tranquil, unaging, immortal, fearless, and supreme.”
In Munisamaj, the importance of utterance ofॐ is understood and made mandatory in its yoga kriya process to get health and enlightenment. Pranav must be done in correct way and correct pranav practice can attain Samadhi.

Shuv Bhavna :
"जादृसी भाबना जस्य, सिद्धि भवति तादृसी ।"
Means - what you think, that you get. In munisamaj, munis are taught to think positive and do 'Shuv Bhavna' during yoga kriya process to attract health, wealth and good things into life. According to Shivmuni and also Modern philosophy, "Positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life." Means, you will attract into your life whatever you think and focus on. This universal truth is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from pure energy and that through the process of like energy attracting like energy, a person can improve their own health, wealth, and personal relationships.
So, if you stay focused on the good and positive things in your life, you will automatically attract more good and positive things into your life. If you are focused upon lack and negativity, then that is what will be attracted into your life. Like attracts like. If you are feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, appreciative, or abundant, then you are sending out positive energy. On the other hand, if you are feeling bored, anxious, stressed out, angry, resentful, or sad, you are sending out negative energy. "Shuv bhavna" is an important part of Muni samaj that teaches to spread positive energy in one's life and surroundings. Please read more here.

Chakravedan : Yoga is essentially a practice that aims at cleansing, balancing, fixing, strengthening and challenging the body both from within as well as on the outside. Chakravedan is a sadhan (practice) given by Satgurudev Shivamuni Maharaj to all Munis who becomes admitted to Muni samaj. It's not an exercise(vyayam) but a yoga vyayam. A muni does it every day between 3.00 to 6.00 a.m to make himself mentally, physically, intellectually and spiritually fit for all time to come. It is a combination of asaan, pranayam, pratishat, dharana, dhyan and samadhi. It's the great method to achieve these 6 internal (Antaranga) yoga stages out of 8 principle given by Patanjali Yogadarshan. It's a panacea. It's a vibrative and awakening force, a catalyst, a life giving force that transform a man from manhood to godhood.
Here chakra means circle or joint. There are 6 main chakras in our body - Angya, Vishuddh, Anahat, Manipur, Swadhisthan and Muladhaar. In Leg 6 joints, in hand 6 joints and in main body 6 joints - all total 18 chakra sadhan a Muni does. It takes 1 to 2 hours which makes him powerful and energetic whole day. Chakravedan kriya cleanse all negativity and dirts from the chakras and purify the whole body and mind to prepare one to reach the Brahma (The Absolute Being). Through practising this you can achieve anything and everything in your life. This is the most ancient and secret Yoga process which you cannot get anywhere but from Muni Ashram in India. The benefit is said in Upanishad -
" लघुत्वमारोग्यमलोलुपत्वं,
वर्णप्रसादं स्वरसौष्ठवंच ।
गन्धःशुभोमूत्रपरीषमल्प,
योगप्रवृतिं प्रथमां वदन्ति ।।"

Means, the body of Sadhak(who practices) becomes light, free from mental and physical ailments, changes body colour, makes the voice good, digests the food nicely whatever he takes and utilises more in body and mind.

Pranayam : The word 'pranayam' is derived from 'Prana' which stands for 'life force' and 'Ayama' which means 'to lengthen or to work on it'. Yogic texts describe Prana as a potent force that runs through various chakras and nadis in the body to keep the body healthy, energized and invigorated. When the Prana is not able to move freely in the body - due to blockages in chakras or nadis - a person begins to harbour sickness. The concept of prana and its effect on a person's well-being has more to do with the mental state, mindfulness and the emotional health of a person. Interestingly, just the way we breathe may affect the way we perceive things as well as our mental health. Therefore, pranayama is a simple practice of many breathing techniques and asanas that promote emotional, mental and physical well-being.

But due to lack of knowledge people do pranayam incorrectly. Some also teach to hold breath as a procedure of pranayam which is totally incorrect. Breathing must be done in natural way according to prakriti. Also pranayam must be practiced with concentration in proper surroundings. In munisamaj, pranayam is taught not only to heal body and mind, but also to attain samadhi(enlightenment). Correct practice of pranayam is most necessary step in yoga.
